Worship Summit 2025

Singing What We Believe, Becoming What We Sing

We are excited to invite you to the Worship Summit 2025, a special gathering for choir members, worship leaders, musicians, and anyone with a heart for worship. This event is designed to encourage, equip, and inspire all who serve in the ministry of music and worship.

Worship is at the very heart of the church, and the way we lead God’s people in song matters deeply. Through this summit, our prayer is to renew our commitment to Christ-centered, Spirit-filled worship that glorifies God and strengthens His people.

Date: September 21, 2025 - 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Venue: Manila Baptist Church Worship Hall

What to Expect:

  • Plenary Sessions – Gain fresh biblical insights on worship from experienced pastors, musicians, and leaders. These sessions will challenge us to think deeply about why and how we worship.
  • Hymn Reading and Choral Reading Sessions – where voices will be united in singing contemporary hymns and choral works that continue to shape the worship life of the church.
  • Worship & Fellowship – A time to gather as one body in Christ to sing, pray, and encourage one another.

Who Should Attend:

  • Worshippers
  • Choir members and directors
  • Worship leaders and singers
  • Musicians and instrumentalists
  • Anyone passionate about worship and music ministry

Why You Should Join:

The Worship Summit is not just another event - it’s a space for growth, encouragement, and renewal. Whether you’re new to ministry or have served for years, you’ll find inspiration to keep going, wisdom to serve more effectively, and fellowship with others who share the same calling.

Together, let us rediscover the joy and privilege of leading God’s people in worship.

Rev. Mongcal’s academic journey reflects both breadth and depth in his preparation for ministry. He earned his Master’s in Church Music from Singapore in 2020, after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Music at the University of the Philippines–Diliman in 2009. Alongside his musical training, he also pursued theological studies, graduating with a Bachelor of Theology from the Bible Baptist Seminary and Institute (BBSI) in 2004. Earlier in life, he trained as a Civil Engineer, completing his degree at MSEUF Lucena City in 1994.

He currently serves as the Vice President for Administration and Finance at BBSI, and as Worship Pastor of Faith Fundamental Baptist Church in Antipolo. His ministry has extended internationally, where he also contributed as a Community Development Coordinator for a Singapore-based NGO.

Before entering full-time ministry, Rev. Mongcal gained valuable professional experience in the engineering field, working as Chief Maintenance Engineer for Calmar Land Development Corporation (1997–1999) and as Site Engineer for Campana Development Corporation in Cavite (1995–1997).
